To express my interest in the scholarship for my bachelor’s degree studies, I’m writing this letter.
Most of the time when I have made the decision to enrol on a bachelor’s degree programme at a university, there is one thing that holds me back: the cost of those programmes. I come from a middle-class background, and my parents have always been the only source of financial support for me. They supported my brothers and me when we were attending school. They are determined to offer us an education that, in some ways, was not possible due to the challenging conditions.
I graduated from high school and am one of the top students in my class as a result of my perseverance and diligence.
Even yet, my family cannot afford for me to pursue a bachelor’s degree overseas. My mother works as a teller in a branch office in our neighbourhood, while my father has retired from the workforce after being unable to find employment following a limb amputation surgery. Without a scholarship, studying abroad would essentially remain a pipe dream in these urgent circumstances.
My parents and I are not in a position to pay for my bachelor’s degree because practically all of our family’s money goes toward paying for my father’s care, medication, and food. And I’m now working a part-time job that I’ve had for a while. I was only able to use the little I had saved over the previous two years to pay the university’s application fee. Even though I have been admitted to study for a bachelor’s degree, I am unable to pay the first instalment of the tuition cost, therefore my admission is still in pending condition.
I sincerely hope and desire to be awarded the scholarship since it will provide me with the opportunity to attend a reputable university, open doors for my future career, and enable me to achieve both my personal and academic objectives. In the end, it will release me from the mental stress of having to support my academic endeavours and relieve my parents of having to worry about the financial weight of my studies.
The chance to interact with students and scholars from a variety of cultural and professional backgrounds who are travelling from all over the world strikes me as being out of the ordinary. This kind of network is essential for integrating various viewpoints and ideas related to various global issues.
Last but not least, I want to emphasise how dedicated I am to making the most of this scholarship opportunity. I am convinced that enrolling at a respected institution will have a positive impact on my professional growth as well as provide me with the resources I need to reach my full potential. I truly appreciate you taking my scholarship application into consideration, and I eagerly await your response.
